Bernd Lunkewitz

Chairman and COO

Bernd Lunkewitz brings a diverse background in real estate development, publishing, and media production to his role as COO. He began his career in commercial real estate, leading major development projects across Germany and the United States.

 

From 1991 to 2008, he was the owner and publisher of Berlin’s renowned Aufbau-Verlag, where he oversaw the release of numerous national and international bestsellers, including Viktor Klemperer’s I Will Bear Witness and the definitive edition of Berthold Brecht’s complete works.

 

As a founding partner of the German-based production company Atlantis Films, Bernd produced multiple international film projects, including Affären (Affairs) for Columbia Tri-Star and Venus & Mars—starring Lynn Redgrave and Julie Bowen—for Buena Vista International. He continues to oversee a portfolio of valuable literary rights and intellectual property.

 

Bernd is based in Los Angeles, where he leads the company’s strategic growth and international production efforts.
