Bernd Lunkewitz

Chairman and COO

Bernd Lunkewitz studied Philosophy and Literature in Frankfurt am Main. In his first career he developed commercial real estate in both Germany and the US.

 

From 1991 to 2008 Bernd owned the prestigious Aufbau-Verlag in Berlin. Under his stewardship the publishing house released Viktor Klemperer’s “I will bear witness: A Diary of the Nazi Years, 1933-1941” and the complete edition of Berthold Brecht’s works amongst many other national and international bestsellers.

 

Bernd is a partner in the German based entertainment company Atlantis Films where he produced a number of projects, including the feature films Affären (Affairs) for Columbia Tri-Star and Venus & Mars (starring Lynn Redgrave and Julie Bowen) for Buena Vista International. Bernd also owns the rights to a number of important literary works.

 

He lives and works in Los Angeles.
